Training Philosophy: Taking this step in your life can be intimidating. We have all at one time or another struggled to begin our training program. We have all told ourselves that we will “start tomorrow”. Yesterday’s tomorrow has become today. Now that you’re here, it’s a great time and great place to begin. I am here to motivate, support and guide you through this journey. As your mentor I am here to provide you with the tools, knowledge and confidence to reach your full potential. It is my goal everyday to make sure that you will always walk away from our session feeling better than you did when you arrived.

Paula Cruz Yoga Instructor
Paula Cruz, primarily teaches Hatha Yoga She believes in the invigorating power that yoga offers the mind, body and spirit. Paula has been practising for over 30 years and has been with It Figures for 9 years.
Hatha Yoga helps re-circulate blood through the body, revitalizing and rejuvenating, while increasing concentration and enhancing the overall function of the vital organs.
Regular practice of Yoga keeps the body supple and creates a feeling of vitality and lightness, stimulating the adrenal glands and thus increasing one’s will power and capacity to bear stress. Paula views life as dynamic and believes that the key is to stay flexible. She is focused on caring for the human body as well as attending to relationships that support our lives. For Paula becoming flexible mentally and physically begins on her yoga mat.
Christina Allegra Zumba Instructor
I’m Christina Allegra and I LOVE teaching Zumba classes. The reason is simple. Every class feels like a party! Come join me and you will see what I mean. You don’t even have to know how to dance. Just move your body and follow my lead. It’s easy! Come try it, I guarantee you will have a blast! I look forward to meeting you!
Judy Dobbs, Reflexologist has been in practice for over 35 years. Judy uses the feet and hands as a remote control into the body. By applying and releasing compression to specific points and learning a sequence of movements along those points, lymphatic matter can be released and circulation improved.
BENEFITS OF REFLEXOLOGY – Reflexology can be used as a complementary therapy for many medical conditions. It can help reduce symptoms such as headaches, body aches, anxiety and digestive problems that arise in many medical conditions.
Reflexology can be used as a safe, non-invasive relaxation therapy. Reflexology encourages improved circulation and can help restore the body’s natural balance. A body in balance is a relaxed body, therefore a major benefit of Reflexology is total body relaxation.
Kat started playing any sport she could get her mom to put her in at a very young age. At 12 she started playing Fastpitch softball for a travel league where she got to travel across the U.S. to play at a very competitive level. She also played field hockey and Softball while in college. In 2013 Kat obtained certification in personal training from NPTI, and in 2015 she was certified as a Level 1

I left Philadelphia in 1995 to attend NYU as a dance education major and and ended up staying in NYC for the better part of ten years. When I decided to make teaching my full-time job, I moved back home to Philly in 2004. I’ve been teaching elementary school as my full time gig ever since. I currently work for the Philadelphia School District as a 5 th grade teacher at Solis-Cohen Elementary. I also help to run the youth dance program at Top Hat Dance Studio in Northeast Philadelphia.
I’m a licensed Pilates trainer, Zumba and Barre instructor. Fitness is an important part of my life. I love helping others attain their health and wellness goals while having a great time. If you aren’t having fun, it’s not worth doing. I promise if you come sweat with me, you’ll enjoy it!
As a WITS Certified Personal Trainer, I offer one-on- one and group training sessions. As a AAAI/ISMA Mat Pilates Instructor and Yoga Instructor, I teach fitness classes to diverse populations accommodating all levels from beginner to advanced, offering modifications when needed. I’passionate about health and fitness and believe a strong body and mind allows you to accomplish whatever you set out to achieve!
My love for fitness started when I was nine years old. My father had me in various sports activities and started to train me. That was the moment that I had my mind made up. If this is what it’s doing for me I want everyone to know the benefits of working out. So at 17 years of age I became a certified instructor. I studied fitness, dance and martial arts. I have been at It Figures for eight years. My mission is to motivate and create a healthy mind, body and spirit.
